Sex Advice for Men

Prostate MassageLet’s get one thing clear:

You are not “gay” if you like your prostate stimulated. The same source of pleasure is available to all men, regardless of their sexuality.

Most guys know that their prostate is important because of the prevalence of prostate cancer. Fewer know that the purpose of the prostate is to produce a milky-white fluid that neutralizes the acidity of the vagina, giving sperm a better chance at surviving the long hike to the top.

But the prostate is much more than a reproductive organ that could become cancerous. It’s also the mother lode of male sexual pleasure.

What is Prostate Massage?

The prostate has been called the “male G-spot” for its ability to deliver intense orgasms. “Prostate milking” or “prostate massage” is the practice of gently massaging the prostate to the point of orgasm.

If you already enjoy it when your partner plays with your back door, then you’re just one easy step away from a pleasure zone that will blow your mind.

Prostate Massage With a Partner

If you want to explore prostate massage with a partner, make sure you do it right. Go to the bathroom before having sex, and make sure your partner has washed her hands and trimmed and filed her nails. Lube is essential, so make sure you’ve got a bottle on hand.

Next, get aroused slowly by doing whatever turns you on. Have your partner massage your balls and perineum (the area between your balls and your anus) until the area feels relaxed and aroused by her touch. Massaging this area is a great warm-up for a prostate massage. That’s because your partner can actually stimulate the prostate indirectly through massaging the perineum.

You may feel worried or tense about what’s going to happen. Don’t psyche yourself out by thinking it’s going to feel like the digital rectal exam given by your doctor. This is something completely different, but it won’t feel good unless you’re relaxed, so don’t go any further until you feel completely relaxed and ready to proceed.

Then, lie on your back and let your partner massage your butt and the anal opening. When you’re feeling relaxed and ready, allow her to lube up and insert her finger. Finding the prostate is much like finding the female G-spot. Have her insert her finger about an inch and make a “come here” motion. She should feel a round bulb of tissue beneath her fingers. That is the prostate.

She should then use her fingertips (making her that her nails aren’t pressing into the soft tissue) to gently massage the area. She should use a medium to light touch, as the tissue is quite sensitive. Don’t forget to keep lubing up, as the anus doesn’t produce its own natural lubrication. At the same time, you might ask her to use her other hand to massage your balls or penis.

You’ll feel an immediate urge to urinate, but be aware that this is normal. Ride past it, and you should experience a positive feeling of pleasure. Try having her press on your prostate gland as you come.

Prostate Massage Without a Partner

Not all guys have a partner who is willing to try prostate massage. In those cases, there are a number of sex toys on the market that will enable you to massage your prostate yourself.

The most famous is the Aneros Prostate Stimulator, which comes with a hefty price tag but has won fans the world over. The hands-free design allows a man to concentrate solely on his own pleasure, and a special “Perineum Tab” stimulates the prostate externally through the perineum while simultaneously stimulating the prostate anally.

Most prostate massagers have a more traditional design, resembling a finger with a curve at the tip. Some vibrate at various speeds, like the “Rascal P Spot Explorer,” while less expensive models, like the “Pro Pal,” allow the user to massage themselves at their own speed and comfort level.

Note that prostate massagers are not the same thing as butt plugs. Prostate massagers will be curved at the tip to hit the prostate directly.
