So much for the notion that Australia is the ‘lucky country’! So much for freedom of expression and privacy in the home and more importantly, the bedroom! Criticism is mounting against the planned ISP filter and the Australian Classification Board (ACB) is coming under fire for its censoring of female ejaculation and young, small-breasted women in mainstream pornography.

Fiona Patten of the Australian Sex Party, released a press statement recently focusing on the censorship of female ejaculation, but mentions the board’s stance against small-breasts, and some specific publications that were banned because of the models’ breast sizes.

Here we go again with the boobs, what the? Australia bans nude images of those who “appear to be” under 18, so that a consenting adult with proof of age may be banned from pornography. It has been argued that this rather odd decision propagates the sexist standard that only large-breasted women are considered sexy and those attracted to small breasts are therefore perverts or pedophiles.

The ACB’s response was to say that no specific policy is in place rather they take everything in context but when asked specifically if breast size was considered they declined to answer.

On female ejaculation, the Board claims not to ban the act, but only golden showers. This has led to argument over what exactly is taking place in a given film, and whether female ejaculation is even possible.

Fiona Patten suggested, “new appointees to ratings organizations attend courses in scientific developments regarding human sexuality and biology.” Puritanical Australia is alive and well and attempting to control everything their citizens’ do, say and think.
