What do Ferris Bueller, a headmaster and a grubby old man have in common? Jeffrey Jones! Los Angeles prosecutors have charged actor Jeffrey Jones,who played the deranged headmaster Ed Rooney in, the  now cult, movie Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, with failing to update his sex offender registration information in California.

In 2003 Jones, who’s now 63, pleaded guilty with no contest to felony charges of employing a 14 year-old Florida boy to pose for sexually explicit/pronographic photographs. He was arrested in 2004 for failing to register in Florida and he’s back in custody now for the same thing. Duh! Now who needs the day off?
