A new survey suggests Kiwi guys are easier to please in the boudoir than their female counterparts. (And in 2009 they were voted the eighth best lovers in world). Ladies, how good is it being a Kiwi fem!
Three quarters of the men surveyed say they always enjoy having sex with their partners. However only four in 10 women can say the same thing. The results, from the All Women Talk research panel, are published in Good Health magazine, and reveal when it comes to bedroom frolicking, New Zealand men are keen for their partners to set the ball rolling more often. More than 60% of males in the survey of 129 couples, said they would like their partners to make the first move. Only 14% of women want their men to do the same. "As well as confirming a few gender perceptions, the survey also revealed some surprises," said Good Health editor Shelley Ferguson. One in four men and women would like their partner to show more affection, and 22% of men would like their partner to compliment them more. Surprisingly, men tell their partners they love them more than women. And that's despite the fact that women don't always feel good about themselves. Only 46% of women are completely confident being naked in front of their partners. That compares to nearly 80% of men who are happy with what they strut. And it seems it pays to feel good about your body. The survey shows for the women who do, and are confident in front of their partners, actually enjoy their sex life a lot more. But despite all the foibles and fears revealed, most Kiwi couples say they have a high level of attraction, feel loved and cared for by one another. Ninety five percent of respondents said their initial attraction still holds true, 92% said their partner is their best friend, and 96% enjoy spending time together. Survey snippets Other snippets revealed in the survey include: More women want the lights off when having sex (35% vs 16% of men). Females' most-hated body part is their tummy followed by legs/thighs. Men know their partner's clothing size almost as often as women do - 70% vs 72%.>
