Porn ComicsIf you like comics, and if you like porn, then you need to check out Terminal Press.

Terminal Press is a comic publisher that was ready for a change.  After years of being starving comic artists, they were ready to “sell out” and do whatever the market wanted for a change.

They hit on the idea of a comic series for girls, described by owner Brian Ferrara as “Pokemon meets Brats tween girl Wal-Mart audience,” but it became quickly clear that they didn’t have the stomach for it.

Then, while at a convention trying to sell the idea (that they didn’t really believe in), they met the folks from Arrow Productions.

It was a fortuitous meeting.  Arrow Productions is the legendary adult entertainment company that brought “Deep Throat,” “Debbie Does Dallas,” and “Candy Stripers” to the screen.  Turns out that they were interested in expanding into comic books … and Terminal Press had the talent to make their vision into a reality.

Terminal Press happily abandoned the comic series for girls to dive into comic adaptations of these classic adult films.  But they didn’t just want to recreate adult movies in comic forms.  They wanted to create something completely new and different that would appeal to comic fans just as much as fans of the original movies.

So consider yourself warned: if you’re expecting faithful recreations of the movies, you’ll be sorely disappointed.

Terminal Press asked for complete creative license in their reinterpretation of the brands, turning “Debbie Does Dallas” into a post-apocalyptic story with zombies and robots.  The comic debuted at the 2008 Adult Entertainment Expo to great praise from most, tempered by a few scathing comments from hardcore porn fans who were disappointed at the liberties Terminal Press had taken with the stories.

The HARD/CORE line includes “Debbie Does Dallas," “Deep Throat," "Candy Stripers," “The Devil in Miss Jones," and "Tell Them Johnny Wadd is Here."
