As that image of Princess Leia as Jabba’s slave girl seared itself into the loins of adolescent boys across the world, it would only be a matter of time before porn and Star Wars became natural bedfellows. All you have to do is type “star wars porn” into any search engine to find your favorite sci fi characters doing each other in every possible position. (Here’s one to get you started.) The 2001 movie “Star Ballz” (Media Market Group) is one of the earlier pornographic Star Wars spoofs, made in the style of hentai anime. Goku (Dragonball) plays “Wank Solo,” Sailormoon plays Princess Leia, and Mickey Mouse stars as Darth Vadar. Unfortunately, the movie is difficult to understand due to bad dubbing into English, and its entertainment value lies more in the parody angle of the porn. Still, if you’re after a good laugh and enjoy hentai, “Star Ballz” might be worth a watch. (Random Fact: George Lucas was so offended by it that he sued MMG, citing breach of copyright. The lawsuit was dismissed.) More promising is “Porn Wars” (2006), which loosely recreates the Star Wars trilogy with a cast of European hotties. “Porn Wars” comes out of Sweden, and Private considers the trilogy its most "ambitious production ever." It won two AVN Awards and received an XRCO nomination for Best Comedy or Parody. The mashed-up plot and thickly-accented dialogue won’t win any Oscars, but who needs acting when you’ve got sex, sex, and more sex? Check out a preview of all the hot action at Private's website. You can get the entire trilogy, now collected in one box set, here at our online store. » Get the “Porn Wars” Trilogy (4-DVD set) now And if you want to check out one more Star Wars spoof that will have you snorting with laughter, even if it doesn’t show any flesh, you can’t miss “Troops” (1997). This 10-minute short film takes the premise of Cops – i.e., law enforcement officials going about their daily routine of arresting folk – and puts it in a Star Wars world. » Watch stormtroopers in action in "Troops."

Star Wars has been ripe for parody since its debut over twenty years ago. Who could take the whole thing seriously, after all? (Aside from George Lucas, we mean.)
