The film centers on a group of “Rabbit Addicts” who are trying to kick their Rabbit addiction. But it quickly expands into an often silly and surprisingly insightful study of the politics, history, and debate surrounding this innocuous vibrating toy.

Thanks to cameos by Sir Richard Branson, Germaine Greer, Tom Conti, and Stefanie Powers, “Rabbit Fever” almost manages to convince you that it’s serious.  But then you get hit with a corker like this one: Australian feminist Germaine Greer tells the camera, with a completely straight face, “Men are bad at pleasure. Rabbits are good at pleasure.” Serious or tongue-in-cheek?  The confusion is half the hilarity!

It just takes one glance at the trailer for the movie to realize that this is the perfect hen’s night entertainment.  We are told that more vibrators were sold in Britain in 2005 than washing machines and dryers combined.  Clearly, a vibrator is the ultimate housewife’s accessory!

Plus, with gorgeous actors like Julian Rhind-Tutt, Enzo Cilenti, and Tom Hollander starring, no woman can resist.
